Founders

Principal

Deborah Rocco, M. Ed Human Resource Development

Deborah has over 35 years of senior leadership experience in government, higher education, and private industry. Prior to her consulting career Deborah held senior HR roles in the telecommunications, pharmaceutical and health care industries where she had Diversity and Inclusion initiatives under her purview.  Throughout her career Deborah demonstrated an ability to combine her expertise in leadership and organizational development with a practical business sense to design solutions that work.

From high-risk youth to corporate executives, Deborah’s life work has been about helping individuals achieve their full potential. She brings to each interaction a belief in human goodness, a genuine curiosity about the connection between things, and the courage to bring people together and tackle the tough issues.

Passionate about the intersection between well-being and performance, Deborah is committed to helping individuals, teams, and organizations identify the critical few and focus on the wholehearted for optimum impact.

Deborah holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development, a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and is a trained executive coach. She is also certified in a variety of assessment instruments.

She splits her time between San Diego, California and Zlatibor, Serbia where she helps her husband, Nesh, operate cultural tours in Eastern Europe. She is currently studying how to use the expressive arts to bring more joy and play to life.

PRINCIPAL

Betina Schonberger, MBA

Betina has spent the last 20 years working for and with global Fortune 500 companies, government, and non-profits in various leadership roles including product development, marketing, strategic alliances and business development.

Born in Vancouver Canada, raised by a flight attendant mother, Betina traveled the world at an early age gaining an appreciation for humanity’s rich diversity and the importance of meaningful connection.

Her passions include helping individuals realize their unique and distinctive talents, and building the individual and organizational capabilities so that those diverse skills, perspectives and approaches can be put to productive use and celebrated. Betina uses her energy, candor and curiosity to facilitate the conversations that matter, harvest the wisdom in the room, build authentic community and create accountability for positive action.

Betina holds a Master's in Business Administration from Thunderbird: The American Graduate School of International Management, and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of British Columbia. She lives in San Francisco, California with her 5-year-old son Max who has taught her more about humility, presence and the human condition, than any course she has ever taken.
